Globe-trotting troubadour Carus Thompson has toured the world alongside The John Butler Trio, The Waifs, Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson & Pete Murray, selling over 30,000 albums along the way.
He’s won his loyal fan base through 25 years of hitting the road and always delivering passionate, energetic, folk-rocking shows that entertain and engage.
After two amazing shows in August Carus returns to one of his favourite venues in for a one-off special “Requests” Show.
In this special format, over two sets Carus will play whichever songs of his the crowd wants to hear. Upon arrival at the venue, and in the set break punters can write down the Carus songs they want at the merchandize desk and Carus will play them for you – simple as that!
He has never played a Requests show in Brisbane before so this is sure to be special.
He’ll play songs from his new record “Neon Folk”, or from his older records (once again – the crowd chooses!), all with the energy and passion that has made him one of Australia’s favourite acoustic artists.
