FLETCHER DUNN is an up-and-coming Meanjin/Brisbane musician hailing from the vibrant alternative pop-rock scene. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of artists such as Labrinth, Blink-182, and G-Flip. Fletcher has crafted a unique sound that seamlessly blends catchy pop melodies with the raw energy of rock. Catch them being supported by their eccentric band, consisting of Zachary Mannita, Ben Neal, and Tom Hurwood, who consistently bring their songs to life in a whole in new and inspiring ways! SAMICHOUX is a songwriter and instrumentalist who's mission it is to create notalgic music that stimulates the listeners imagination. With strong influence from artists such as Tatsuro Yamashita, Stevie Wonder, and Sting, Sami seeks to infuse old school songwriting and musicianship to create a new and unique mix of elements in his own productions. SERENDIPITI, the musical identity of Jess CHate, wrote her first song at age 8 to self-soother her anxiety from phantom spider bite. Since that day, music has been her magic. Inspired by Lizzy McAlpine, Gordi and Big Thief, with a sprinkling of Coldplay energy, Serendipiti has been described as 'super-charming hand-spun folk pop' with a touch of 'pixie dust', by Triple J unearthed producers. Her songwriting cuts straight to the heart interlacing her honest narratives with alternatively tuned guitars and lush cinematic crescendos. Hugo and The Hive are an original indie rock band of pure best mates from Gympie. They've been hitting the stage since 2019 and their energy shines onstage. With influences like Spacey Jane, Greta Van Fleet and Amy Winehouse, as well as comparisons to Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers and The Beth's, they are sure to get you up on your feet and having a groove!
Coining the term, Authentic Rock Ella Joy is ‘Set to be a very prominent name in the country’s alt/blues rock scene.’ (Right Chord Music). Drawing inspiration from Pearl Jam, Alanis Morissette and Olivia Rodrigo, Ella brings new meaning to the term ‘hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’.
Hati is an enigmatic singer-songwriter, guitarist, musical collaborator, you name it! All while being based right here in Brisbane! She's been creating music for 13 years and strives to develop music that lyrically and instrumentally creates an individual experience for each listener on both an extremely simplistic and musically complex level. Reckless Coast - 'Naked, Famous & Unplugged'
Following on from their East Coast Australian tour and release of their debut EP 'Naked & Famous', Brisbane based coastal pub-rock misfits Reckless Coast are bringing an intimate, acoustic evening to The Junk Bar.
 
With special guests Ruby Gilbert, and Max Bader & The Upstairs Neighbours, 'Naked, Famous & Unplugged' is where the artists can strip back their sets to its core details, and share with the audience a closer insight into the meanings and inspirations behind their art.
 
Highlighted by ‘The Music’ as the Queensland feature artist in 2023, Reckless Coast are at the forefront of today's rock resurgence. With a sonic persona resembling Foo Fighters adrenaline with retro-rock highlights, Reckless Coast form the unique bond that connects Indie/Alt. Rock modernity with the quintessential eras of Rock 'n' Roll. 
 
Within only the last few months, Reckless Coast have supported the likes of The Delta Riggs, Press Club, and most recently, The Southern River Band on all 'Stan Qualen' QLD tour dates.
Heralded by their flagship single 'Burn Street', Reckless Coast's debut EP 'Naked & Famous' garnered national radio and press coverage from the likes of Triple J, The AU Review and Pedestrian.TV. Paired with a string of boutique international features including Too Much Love Mag (Miami, USA), In The Bucket Playlist (Switzerland) and York Calling (U.K), it bears witness to a global enthusiasm for the zestful and un-clichéd modernity of Reckless Coast's Rock ‘n' Roll approach.

Ruby Gilbert is nothing short of a sonic enchantress. Weaving a musical alchemy that evokes haunting nostalgia and bygone eras, whilst remaining poignant and confessional.
Her 2018 debut EP, "Dearly Beloved," marked a luminous entry, setting stages alight alongside luminaries like C.W. Stoneking, Justin Townes Earle, and The Teskey Brothers. Since it's release, her music has adorned screens, like Channel 7's "Wanted" and ABC's "Diary of an Uber Driver", and has earned her multiple Queensland Music Award nominations.
Teaming up with ARIA-Award nominated producer, Nash Chambers, Gilbert is slated to release her eagerly-awaited sophomore EP in 2024.
 
Max Bader & The Upstairs Neighbours explores connection, release, fear, fate, hope, and change. The stories they share in their songs, the dynamic arrangements that come with, and the clear joy they have for performing & connecting people through music – these are the things that matter.

Award-winning artist, producer, and creative powerhouse Tyrone Noonan
boasts a remarkable music career. A prolific solo artist, Tyrone collaborates on a wide range of projects, including the recent Rolling Stone Record of the Week Utopia? and performances with the Perth Symphony Orchestra (INXS Reimagined), the Marvin Gaye tribute What's Going On and regular shows with his jazz band Palimpsest.
SARAH STOCKHOLM 
Sarah Stockholm fuses together 70s and 80s post-punk and synth-pop with moody atmospherics to create dark and danceable electronica. Stockholm has played sold out shows at Brisbane Powerhouse, Queensland Cabaret Festival and Spark Festival and shared the stage with numerous indie-icons including Screamfeeder and Ben Ely (Regurgitator).
KATY L BEDFORD
Bedford makes floaty folk music through a childlike lens. Her songs often reference having ‘agency’ ~ what she hopes to give her fellow soft-at-heart listeners. You’ll often find her accompanied by fellow musician Nick Smethurst (guitar) or standalone/ w her guitar and a cuppa. She has performed line ups with the likes of Leah Seniro, Jess Ribero, Hannah Cameron and Folk Bitch Trio ~ fellow folk sweethearts.

Lee Jones Quintet LIVE & Libby Myers with Special GuestsLee Jones is a British jazz guitarist and composer, combining influences from modern jazz, fusion, blues, avant-garde and rock styles. Lee has regularly performed throughout the UK scene and recorded/performed/studied alongside Larry Coryell, Martin Taylor and Mike Stern. Since graduating from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Jazz Course in 2007, he has released seven solo albums with former WEA producer Simon Tittley and in 2019 completed a PhD in music composition at the University of Salford, Manchester. Lee is currently touring Australia and also active within music education/research. Lee released his latest solo guitar project, A World Away, in late 2023.

Libby Myers is a guitarist and music researcher from Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia.

Her intimate, heartfelt performances aim to tell unique stories through music, with a passion for contemporary and experimental projects.

She has a passion for contemporary music and experimentation, having given world premieres of solo, chamber and orchestral works for classical and electric guitar throughout Australia and abroad. Her debut solo album Unfettered and Alive was highly commended in the 2023 Queensland Music Awards. In 2024, she will be a mentor at the Dots+Loops NONSTOP festival where she will premiere new commissions for solo guitar written by the festival’s Composition Fellows.

As an improviser, she has collaborated with artists of disparate genres and disciplines, and it is in this mode of collaborative creativity she feels most at home. She has premiered her own experimental, improvisation-led compositions on both classical and electric guitar that explore open notation, effects, gesture and objects.

Libby has toured Australia with the Riverside Guitar Ensemble and the Rosa Guitar Trio, with whom she was an artist-in-residence at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. The trio released the album Brasiliana which featured their signature interpretations of traditional Brazilian music and was toured through regional Australia through Musica Viva.

Libby’s research focuses on musical practice, subjectivity and experimentation using innovative artistic and narrative research methods. She is an experienced and passionate music educator, currently tutoring in decolonising, practice-led approaches to music theory and aural skills at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. Libby also teaches and directs award-winning student ensembles in high schools throughout Brisbane, and was a teaching assistant at the annual Sydney Guitar Summer School. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from Griffith University and masters degrees from the Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Spain, and the University of Queensland, where she researched on the application of acting techniques to musical performance.
